Depression and Anxiety Counseling

The 2024 results of the American Psychiatric Association’s annual mental health poll show that U.S. adults are feeling increasingly anxious. In 2024, 43% of adults say they feel more anxious than they did the previous year, up from 37% in 2023 and 32% in 2022 (psychiatry.org).

Parents and adults frequently grapple with depression, anxiety, and stress as a result of the numerous responsibilities and pressures they encounter in day-to-day life. Juggling work, family, and personal needs can become quite overwhelming, often resulting in feelings of inadequacy or burnout.

Significant life changes, such as divorce, the loss of a loved one, or major shifts in their children's lives, further contribute to emotional strain. Social media and societal expectations can intensify stress levels, complicating mental well-being.

Our therapists strive to establish meaningful and trusting connections with their clients to collaboratively explore practical strategies for coping with depression and anxiety. We use a range of methods including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), existential therapy, person centered therapy and other integrated approaches. Through a combination of therapy and practical strategies, we empower you to overcome obstacles and thrive in everyday life.
